Originally from Seattle, Dr. Amy Miller moved to St. Louis to attend medical school and complete her residency training.  During her final year of medical school, while flying around the country interviewing for residency positions, she met the man of her dreams, Paul.  It didn’t take much for him to convince her to stay in St. Louis, where they now make their home.  They have 3 beautiful boys: Eric, David and Robbie and a pug named Rocky.

Dr. Miller now specializes in aesthetic and laser medicine.  She trains physicians from across the U.S. in the use of lasers in medicine and is an adjunct professor of Family Medicine at St. John’s Hospital in St. Louis.  She has published 2 papers on the treatment of acne and rosacea with laser light and is currently working on a third study and publication.  In her free time Dr. Miller enjoys reading historical fiction and exploring creative ways to get her children to eat vegetables.

Healthy, beautiful skin is Dr. Miller’s goal for all her patients.  She is an advocate of the importance of sun protection and sunscreen for the health of the skin.  Most skin cancers are directly related to sun exposure.  This is a risk factor that can be modified to immensely reduce the chance of developing these diseases.  She firmly believes that with a bit of knowledge and effort, everyone can have healthy, beautiful skin for life.
