Rosanne Yvonne Frazier lives on a wooded acreage near Branson West, Missouri. Rosanne is the mother of six precious children. Rosalie, Alexis, Pearl, Lily, Oakley, and Navy range in age from 15 down to 6. Rosanne met her husband, Russ, at a wedding reception in Bentonville, AR. They both knew it was love at first sight. He was from Iowa, so they grew their relationship through hundreds of letters and phone calls before they were finally married 20 long…distance months later. Shortly after they were married, Russ and Rosanne purchased a Christmas tree farm with over 8000 trees surrounding a beautiful 2 acre pond. For five Christmases, they sold trees to families who came out for a sentimental Christmas experience. The experience was complete with Santa Claus and real reindeer brought down from the tundra, which they raised and cared for on the farm. Rosanne believes it is never too late to learn a new skill, and that nothing is too difficult to accomplish. Whether it’s woodworking, quilting, building bookshelves or installing a wooden dance floor; every project is a way to learn something new. Rosanne taught herself to quilt in 1997. Since then, she has completed over 35 quilts, most of her own designs. Through her business Redhead Quilts, she sells her original quilt patterns and quilter’s jewelry that she has taught her oldest daughter to make. She is also an active member of the Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild. Rosanne has had a lifelong love of art, a quick study from the time she was drawing cartoons as a child through the time she was competing in art competitions in high school. She decided to learn oil painting as a hobby in 2002 and soon found that people wanted to buy her work. To date, she has completed over 70 original oil paintings, several of which are hanging in the homes of people all across the United States. Rosanne loves taking clogging and advanced ballet classes with her daughters. She loves the exhilaration of intense dance workouts, as well as the knowledge she is gaining to help choreograph some of her daughters’ routines. Although she prefers high heels around town, Rosanne enjoys the outdoors when she is home. One of her favorite gifts this Christmas was the 20 gauge shotgun she received from her husband. He was excited that she was able to blast away a few “flying” water bottles when they went out for her first target practice. Although she loves home in Missouri, her second favorite place is Red Lake, Ontario Canada, where the family goes fishing every other year. Rosanne loves people. That is one of the reasons why her platform is focused on the loving act of being prepared to help one another. Rosanne’s message “It’s Time for a Heart to Heart,” shares the need for individuals to be willing to assist someone who has gone into Sudden Cardiac Arrest which claims more lives each year then the top 7 cancers combined including breast cancer. Most Americans are unaware of the difference between a heart attack and Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Nationally there is only a 6% survival rate, while Portland Oregon has a 45% survival rate from Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Survivors can thank quick-thinking, selfless individuals when their life is spared. Rosanne can teach individuals 3 things that will empower them to save a life and help change the national statistics.
