"I have never competed in a pageant.  Is previous experience necessary?"

Absolutely not.  Most of our contestants are newcomers and have never competed before.  All you need is the desire to try it!

"What are the requirements to enter?"

1-You must be at least 18 years of age

2-Married

3-A resident of Missouri & a United State Citizen

“Do I need a talent?”

No. There is an optional talent competition for those interested. This portion will be scored by different judges and has no bearing on the winner of the Mrs. Missouri Pageant. Entry fee is $50.00

“Is there an entry fee?”

Yes.  There is a $150.00 application fee is due with you application. (Refunded if not accepted)

There is a $550.00 Production / Pageant fee. This includes the following:

Local Crown & Sash

Opening Number Outfit

Competition Swimsuit

Pre-pageant Workshops & Contestant Events

Meals & Events during pageant weekend

Crowning Celebration Party

Awards Breakfast

“Are there additional costs involved?”

You will need an evening gown and interview suit of your choice.

You will need to supply 5 color 5 x 7 head shots for the judges.

"Are there other requirements?"

Contestants must sell one ad in the program book and 10 tickets to the pageant.

"Can I obtain sponsorship to cover the costs?"

Absolutely!  The pageant also offers opportunities for contestants to raise funds that will offset their expenses.

“What is the platform?”

This is an issue, organization or charity about which you are passionate.  This is the message you will share should you become the next Mrs. Missouri.

“Will I stay with my family at the pageant?”

Yes. This is a fun filled family weekend. Branson has much to offer children of all ages and some families choose to make this a week long vacation. There are many activities to keep your family occupied while you are in rehearsals and you will love having the support of your own cheering section at the pageant final.
